Features The first of the book’s 28 chapters focus on the effects of cancer treatment on the heart. Subsequent chapters discuss the contemporary and older cardiac imaging techniques with an emphasis on the clinical problems facing physicians. The final chapters focus on special vital subjects related to cancer patients and their families. The numerous evidence-based tables, graphs, and illustrations with appropriate references are easy to understand, and the concepts are fairly detailed. Assessment The quality of the book is excellent. It is a valuable resource for anyone practicing or involved in the field of cardio-oncology, from cardiologists and oncologists to fellows in training, nurse practitioners, researchers, and even medical students.
